Five.X.Five is Matej Novak, a multi-instrumentalist who has split his life between Prague, Toronto and Kingston, Ontario.

After nearly 25 years of writing copy and content for others, he returned to his first creative passion to tell his own musical stories of trauma, travel and trying to make it. Collaborators include Billy the Kid (as primary co-writer), Jeremy Taggart (Our Lady Peace), Atom Willard (Angels & Airwaves, Against Me) and Jack Lawrence (Jack White, City and Colour).

The project exists as an outlet for a variety of musical influences held together by meaningful storytelling and multifaceted lyrics.
