Born and raised in Watford, Hertfordshire, Sam fell in love with music from an early age. From piano-tinkling as a toddler in a musical family to geeking out on singer songwriters' albums found in her Dad's study, making up songs and playing them for her little sister and filling endless notebooks with poetry as a teen, she was always humming and always scrawling, never quite imagining she'd be performing and recording in local alt rock bands as a young adult and later, dreamily, with her favourite singer-songwriter, Billy the Kid.

Most recently she has been found wandering the Michigan woods, happily sipping tea and playing with The World's Most Cutest Pup trying and failing to work out how it all happened.
